Crafted from reclaimed Alpine Ash, Rippling unfolds like a seed pod opening to the world. Layer upon layer reveals a form shaped by patience, growth and the quiet rhythms found throughout the natural landscape.

Created for the Watershed Art Prize, the work reflects on the gentle ways connection spreads through communities and environments, much like ripples extending across still water. Each curve holds a sense of belonging, reminding us that our lives are continually shaped by the places we inhabit and the relationships we nurture.

Growth rarely announces itself. More often, it unfolds quietly over time.
