Reflection

Carved from reclaimed Jarrah, Breath explores the space between solidity and stillness, where timber becomes more than material and begins to hold a presence of its own.

Eleven carved surfaces unfold around the form, each opening allowing light and air to pass through, creating a quiet dialogue between weight and movement. The hand-worked textures follow the natural grain of the timber, revealing the marks of time already held within the wood while adding the traces of the maker’s own journey.

Created slowly through carving, shaping and listening to the material, Breath reflects on patience, renewal and the quiet moments where we reconnect with ourselves and the world around us.
