Inspired by the stomata of a leaf, Threshold draws attention to one of nature's smallest yet most essential forms. These microscopic openings quietly regulate the exchange between the inner and outer world, allowing a leaf to breathe, respond and sustain life.

Enlarged and carved from reclaimed Oregon, the familiar becomes unfamiliar. The central opening shifts from being simply a void to becoming a place of exchange a reminder that life is shaped as much by what moves through us as what we hold onto.

The warmth of the timber invites a slower encounter, encouraging us to notice the quiet systems that sustain both forests and ourselves.
